Developing the heart of a Buddha

This retreat is open to anyone who has participated in one of the Triratna basic / introductory courses.

This retreat is an opportunity to come together as a temporary community to explore what it means to develop the warmth, kindness and the embodied wisdom of the Buddha. Being alive to the heart helps us feel more resilient, alive to ourselves and sensitive to others, helping us see what truly matters to live authentically. The retreat will weave together meditation, simple ritual, silence, reflection, time for walks in the beautiful setting of Dharmagiri and fun.

The retreat is lead by Jayaraja who has been teaching meditation and mindfulness for over 25 years. He has a diploma in Gestalt psychotherapy and trained with Marshall Rosenberg in Nonviolent Communication. He is the co-author of two books on play and community building and two books on communication for teenagers. He has trained in Restorative Circles and has studied neuroscience, developmental psychology and trauma. He has also workded with fundraising for Karuna Trust and has been the chairman of Buddhafield. He is known for his playfulness, warmth and depth.

The cost includes a booking fee of 500 SEK, see terms for registration.

Enter the price you'll be paying below. The reduced price is primarily for students, unemployed, retirees and others with low income. If the reduced price is too high for you, or you would need to pay by instalments, contact the centre and we will find a solution. It is important for us that those who want to participate can do so, regardless of their financial situation. If possible, please consider giving a donation (dana) when booking, which allows us to cover both our costs and to give lower prices to those who need.
